Basic Moonshiner’s Breakfast

  • Combine 1 pound of ground pork* with contents of one spice packet.
  • Add 1/4 cup maple syrup (or cold water).
  • Mix thoroughly with a stand mixer, a spoon, or your bare hand until sticky.
  • Form into patties, links, or leave crumbled, and fry in a pan.  Cook ’til the crumbles are crispy or the sausages reach 160*.


*You can also use leaner meat like turkey or chicken.

-For milder maple flavor, use 2 tablespoons water and 2 tablespoons maple syrup.
